About the Artist

Shachi Srivastava is a contemporary Madhubani artist based in Georgia, USA.
Her practice honors the visual language of Mithila while engaging modern expression through form, color, and symbolism

Creating art since 2012 and working professionally with collectors since 2016, she is deeply rooted in Indian heritage while engaging a modern visual language.

Self-taught and guided by intuition, observation, and emotional depth, Shachi creates paintings that carry intentional symbolism and her enduring belief that colors are messengers of happiness.

Through Srijan Shachi, she transforms cultural narratives into meaningful connections—turning personal stories, spaces, and moments into lasting visual expressions.

Over the past nine years, she has completed more than 100 commissioned artworks for collectors, interior designers, and cultural institutions across North America and India.

Her work stands at the intersection of tradition and innovation, celebrating identity, storytelling, and cultural continuity through a contemporary lens.

Her work is commissioned by private collectors, interior designers, and cultural organizations seeking meaningful, site-responsive art.
